F2B!'s mission is to help families and/or
individuals in the Anoka County have some security and way of getting around by fixing and giving away cars. They help
people who are on welfare to work, are umemployed, under employed, disables, senior citizens, or studenty .
Car repairs take place every 1st and 3rd saturdays
of every month at the Victory Auto in Fridely and Ham Lake, respectively. They help repair cars and do safety checks.
Also, they have basic budget training for the people who receive cars donated for them, so someday they will be able to pay
for their own repairs. All car car saturday mechanics and helpers are volunteers. Victory Auto has donated their
facilities for Free 2Be to use, and Part Plus and Cotten's NAPA Auto Parts, Checker Auto and John's Auto Parts all parts are
provided a discounted rate for all the parts F2B! needs.
Car donations go by qualified Anoka County
residents based on priority in target populations. F2B is a non-profit organization, but if the car's repairs cost too
much they may ask for a recipient to pay for some of the parts that were used to repair the car.
